What kind of help should I expect to receive from my case manager?

Your case manager is here to support you throughout your journey, but that doesn’t mean they can do everything for you.

Case managers CAN:

• Help clarify CPT Program requirements and deadlines.
• Connect you to community resources like childcare support or transportation.
• Offer job search assistance.
• Provide a safe, judgement-free space to talk through challenges and next steps.

Case managers CANNOT:

• Manage tuition or financial aid issues.
• Register for classes on your behalf, or change grades.
• Modify CPT Program deadlines or your school’s curriculum.
• Provide legal or financial advice.
• Guarantee job placements or outcomes.
